Courtesy Pay

Emergency expenses or unforeseen circumstances can lead to insufficient funds available in your checking account. Having a check returned or your debit card declined due to insufficient funds can be costly, inconvenient and embarrassing.

SoundView FCU may cover your overdraft in different ways:

1. Overdraft line of Credit available on Checking Plus* Accounts
2. Automatic Coverage linked to your savings account which comes standard on all checking accounts
3. Courtesy Pay

Courtesy Pay transactions allow your checking account to be temporarily negative covering your expenses when you do not have funds available. You will be charged a fee of $35.00 each time we pay an overdraft with Courtesy Pay (this fee is waived for charges up to $25.00). There is no limit to the total fees you will be charged for over drafting your checking account. The maximum balance you may be negative is $400 including fees.
