All SVFCU checking accounts come standard with automatic coverage. If you overdraft your checking account, available funds may be transferred from your savings account to cover your transaction. Fees may apply.
Use Payroll Deduction to divide your direct deposit funds between different SVFCU accounts each time you are paid. With Payroll Deduction you can set aside savings and even make loan payments! Use this Payroll Authorization Form to let us know how you would like your funds divided.
Set up an automatic transfer from your checking or savings account to pay a loan or move money to another SVFCU automatically each month. Contact a Representative at 1-800-722-2936 to get started!
Official checks may be withdrawn from your account using available funds. Official checks are free. Make the check payable to yourself or a third party.
You can wire available funds from your SVFCU account to any institution capable of receiving wired funds. Your account is also eligible for receiving incoming wire transfers. Please call 1-800-722-2936 for a wire request.
Be prepared to provide us with the receiving institution’s incoming wire instructions including the name of the receiving institution, routing number, account holder’s name, address, and account number. Please note: the routing number listed
on the bottom of a check may not be the correct wire routing number; verify the routing instructions with the financial institution. International wires may also require an IBAN or SWIFT code.
SoundView FCU offers the convenience of foreign currency exchange. We offer competitive foreign exchange rates for over 100 countries. Purchase foreign currency ahead of your travel to avoid escalated fees and inflated exchange rates in airports, hotels
and banks. You also have the option to purchase Currency Price Protection. This protection plan allows you to return unused foreign currency and receive the exact exchange rate as originally purchased.
Bank-by-Mail Deposits and loan payments can be made by mail. Checks are credited to your account upon receipt. Envelopes are available at any of our branch locations or by contacting a Member Services Representative to have Bank-by-Mail envelopes
mailed to you.
A Notary Public Service is available at our main branch location at no cost to you. It is recommended to call 1-800-722-2936, option 2 ahead of time to be sure a Notary Public is available. Your
presence and photo ID are required in order to notarize documents.
