Cell Phones for Soliders

SVFCU collects used, unwanted cell phones for Cell Phones for Soldiers. The cell phones are recycled for proceeds to purchase calling cards for soldiers to call their families while oversees. You are welcome to drop off cell phones at any of our branch locations.

shred day 2017Shred Day Results

On Saturday, April 29, SVFCU sponsored a free shred day event for the community at our Barden office.  We encouraged donations for nonperishable food items.  This year we collected $90.00 in monetary contributions and approximately 218 pounds of food.  The donations were made to Hillside Outreach in Danbury, CT providing food for those in need throughout Western Connecticut and Westchester County in New York.  Hillside Outreach delivers food to people who are unable to access local food pantries.  Thank you to all who came to support our Shred Day event!
