Girl with American Flag

As of Friday, March 13, 2020

Dear Member,

As the New England Region, Connecticut and Massachusetts, continues to be impacted by the global spread of COVID-19, I want to assure you that SVFCU will continue operations and is here to serve your financial needs.  During this rapidly evolving situation, our main priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our staff and member-owners.

With that being said, our Main Office branch, until further notice, will be open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Our Boston branch will be closed until the end of March.  We are acting out of an abundance of caution with measures designed to limit the density of population in both of our sites which allows us to safely continue business operations that cannot be done remotely.

As of today, there are no reported cases of the virus at either of our sites.

What our members can do:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home when you are not feeling well
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze

As a member, you have access to all of your accounts without needing to visit a branch.  Access is available from the comfort of your home or anywhere with internet access.  We encourage you to stay connected to your accounts with the SoundView Mobile App using a tablet, smart phone or Home Banking using a computer.  You can check balances, transfer funds, make a payment, deposit checks and have remote control of your debit card.  Use our secure messaging on home banking on our website by going to Menu > Secure Messaging to ask any questions you may have.   Access your home banking here.  If you do not have the mobile app, download it here.   To sign up for mobile check deposit fill out the form here.

Rest assured that we have taken the necessary steps to serve you safely and securely.

We have enhanced cleaning at our locations and added hand sanitizing stations to help keep members and the public in good health.  Should you or your family be impacted by COVID-19 and need financial support, we're here to help. Members of our team are ready to provide you financial guidance and discuss any financial arrangements you may need to help you through this difficult time.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and evaluate additional measures to support our members and community as needs arise. Please continue to check your emails from us and visit for regular updates.  To submit your questions online click here or call us at 1-800-722-2936 option 2.
